Your membership will be verified before we provide your Login & Password Counselor VisitationsThe
Counselor Visitation Program is designed for professional development
and to help build a network of counselor resources. Hosting counselors
are able to show visiting counselors programs, resources and methods
utilized at their site. Visiting counselors have the opportunity to see
what it's likeand what they do at "those other places." Perhaps they
might learn something and be able to utilize the new ideas at their
home site.
InternshipsMost if not all Master's in
School Counseling programs require
Supervised Field Experience work.
Qualified school counselors (2 or more years experience) supervise graduate students at either the elementary and/or secondary school level. Graduate students are typically left on their own to solicit internship positions. We hope this list can possibly help. Of course the major benefit of having an intern is added support for your counseling program by being able to implement those job tasks that you haven't been able to due to lack of time. Click
