Members are entitled to the following benefits:

Newsletters containing articles, news, research, and other important information pertinent to the concerns of school counselors.

Right to participate in workshops and inservice training.

Membership directory published yearly plus many other opportunities to network with other counselors.

Notification of news and upcoming legislative efforts and changes of concern to counselors.

Notification of state and national conferences.

There are three levels of membership, Regular, Associate Member and Student Member. 

• Regular members are those who are currently serving in the role of credentialed public school counselor. 

• Associate members are those who are currently teachers, administrators, agency representatives, and other community members. 

• And Student members are those currently enrolled in a Master's level school counseling program.

Membership benefits are identical except that only Regular Members are entitled to vote or hold office in the association. Membership dues are $30 per year for Regular and Associate level and $15.00 for Student.
